One of the attractions in Dodge was the Longhorn Park, by the airport. Oddly enough, it's very, very easy to  skip! We drove right by it and had to stop for directions. On the plus side, we did get to see Dodge City's own airport terminal. 

Back to the cows. 

The first bovine beast by the road was this brute: 

Can you tell it was windy?

A little further down, and there were more cattle. And calves.

Hi, little friends!

Big Daddy did NOT like us one bit. Every step we took, he followed us with his head.

Great times. However, if you notice in the back, there's a sort of dust blowing. We thought it was just that. It turned out to be a pretty decent-sized fire.

Did we mention that it's hot?
