For Suzie

I don't do this often. I really don't. However, today was a special day. Today, Zoey were a dress/outfit from Grandma Suzie.

She loved it, and it fit perfectly:

All she wanted to say was THANK YOU!!! We pulled the leggings up for the warmer weather, but it looked awesome.

Back in March, we went to a wedding. Both the kids were in the wedding party - we posted pictures a few months ago. Cute. Fun. Tada!

Well, at that wedding, during the opening prayer, Zoey dropped to her knee and bowed her head. I couldn't get a good shot, and we had hoped that someone did. The official photographer didn't (why would she? She was focusing on the new couple!), but I'm happy to say that someone did take the picture!

Check it out:

Yeah! Now my wedding collection is complete!

Ready. Aim. FIRE!

After the grill-out/picnic, we loaded water guns and had a blast keeping cool in the pre-summer heat:

Zoey didn't quite get it - she just wanted to spray people, not get sprayed herself.

We took a moment to have a photo op with Kristi, the Miami-based "aunt" -

Mmmmm. Beef.

This is actually a sponsored blog post. Believe it or not, Dodge City Beef generously donated a LOT of beef to our reunion. After all, what is Dodge City without Dodge City Beef?

Grilling up the meaty masterpiece was our Grill Master:
 Burgers = yum.

Rib-eyes = yum.

The B&B was kind enough to let us use their chairs and backyard for our grill-out.

Even though it was in the 90s, we all had a blast.

I don't know how much Chris ate that day - he mainly wandered about, eating from everyone's plates.

This is one relaxed girl!

Now Chris is with Grandma Suzie. See what I mean by the wandering eater?

Despite the thunderheads, we only had a short downpour. On with the water fight!
