A list

I feel guilty.

My blog has suffered.

You haven't seen our trips to the zoo.
Or fishing.
Or making sweet potato french fries.
Or Independence Day.
Or any of our open house adventures.
Or any food adventures.
Or any pool fun.

Sorry.

As my kids play open house (no, really. Zoey has created a little house in a space between the wall and the couch, and she's showing Jack around her "house"), I can't help but feel bad at all the photos that have been neglected.

It's so tempting to post some more, but alas - like usual - there are things to do.

Like frost cupcakes.
Start some dishes.
Eat dinner (not the kids - just me).

Anyway, here's a drive-by look at the past few months:

1) Found a house we loved. Contingent offer accepted.
2) We list our house as FSBO. God help us.
4) We have our first open house on Mother's day - the kids and I paint in the park.
5) Jack graduates from preK.
6) Another open house - this time I take the kiddos to see Rio.
7) Memorial Day comes and goes. I don't even remember what we did.
8) Another open house - another trip to see Rio.
9) Sellers accept a non-contingent offer on the house.
10) We decide to keep our house on the market.
11) Another open house - this time we see Mr. Popper's Penguins
12) VBS happens.
13) Swimming lessons happen.
14) We have to find a new daycare
15) Trav's first 5K is rained out
16) Another open house - this time we see Cars 2.
17) My sister and brother-in-law return from China.
18) We have a big party - seriously, we had about 20 pounds of meat. It took Trav more than 4 hours to cook it all.
19) On the day we decide to give up on the open houses, a guy stops by to ask about the house. In the rain. On my birthday.
20) So have one more open house - the kids and I see the The Zookeeper

Conclusion: It hasn't really been very calm around here, and maybe someday soon we'll be able to post pictures again. I can't even blame it on the computer. Things are just...crazy. It's good but still crazy.
