The Great Leaf Adventure, Part 1

Moving into an older neighborhood, we expected leaves in the fall. In fact, that first Autumn we were in our home, we were super excited to go out and rake.

After three years? Not as excited.

Instead, we take pictures. A lot of pictures.

And then we THROW the leaves!

Sometimes I can even get them to stay still long enough to take a good picture.

Moral of the story: our neighbors use a leaf blower to basically vacuum up their mess. Their yard is spotless. Our yard? Covered in a few inches of leaves. But then there's the debate of whether or not you rake now or just wait for them all to fall. Oh decisions, decisions.
