Confession #21

1. We spent yesterday playing in the mud.

No, seriously. It was a blast. For as much mud as we had, I was impressed with how little they actually got dirty.

2. We like to dig up worms.

It's kind of turned into a group project.

The process is simple - Jack finds the worms and put them into the "daycare class" in a bucket. Zoey then takes the worm and plays with it. Sometimes she drops it and it runs back into the ground.
3. The backyard is a'changing.

This was last year. If you can look at this and not crave 90 degree heat and an 80 degree pool, then there's something wrong with you.

This is how it looks now -well, this part of the yard. Everything is out. The vines are slowly being torn out. We're taking them all out and starting over. Part 1 of 4: done.

4. I have a ton of pictures from last week to post.

I don't have an excuse. Well, I do. It's the same excuse I use for leaving my house in a less-than-desirable state of cleanliness - being outside. We were cooped up in the house for 5 weeks at one point during the winter do to excessive snow, wind and negative temperatures. It's time for us to have fun!

5. Our cat has turned into a dog.

Last night he chased his tail.
Last night he tried to munch on a picture frame.

If he starts chewing on shoes and letting us put a leash on him, I'm going to be worried.

Moral of the story: Expect a photo overload next week.
