Santa? Is that you?

Told you I would post! So here's a marathon post filled with fun pictures!

First, the kids playing last week. Zoey was in a GREAT mood:

Jack tried to cheer her up by doing her hair:
And it looks smashing (the wrench is his scissors)
Next, we went through an Arctic plunge like much of the nation:
We made it to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop - free pictures + Mrs. Clause + a stuffed Reindeer!

Oh yeah, and my parents came up too:
The next day we went over to my aunt's for an excellent Christmas dinner:
They had puppets!
Zoey enjoyed the puppet show immensely.
And loved the puppets as well.
She was very talkative.
My dad and Jack shared some bonding while reading Christmas stories...
After dinner, we all enjoyed opening gifts from Aunt Pat and Uncle Steve:

Merry Christmas!!! Expect more pictures in the new year!

Patience is a Virtue...

I know, I know. I promised pictures last night. Trust me, I know. I am working on a project for you guys that you WILL enjoy, and I forgot to post pictures.

Oops.

Tune in tonight (or tomorrow) for updated pictures and Jack-isms!

P.S.: If any of you have any pictures for Jack from July 2006 - December 2006, please zap them to me! The photo cd that has these pictures on them will not open on my computer. :-(

No, Mommy!

What a night, and it's not even over yet!

I went to the store before picking up the kids and unloaded the groceries after picking up the kids and bringing them home. I had the genius idea of making sweet potato french fries, and made the kids sandwiches.

Nothing is ever that easy. The gallon of milk I had exploded as the bag broke, and I spent more time cleaning it up than paying attention to the kiddos.

When it came time to clean up, I noticed that Jack's sandwich was shoved into his shoe.

I asked him why there was food in his shoe.

His reply?

"No, Mommy! Those are trash trucks!"

Ah, the life of a toddler!

Dear Santa

We all made our way to Supper with Santa:

Later, we made our way to Gma Suzie's for pictures:

Pardon the blurriness; there was no pause button on Jack

This was funny....until he broke the book baskets

Holiday Pictures, Take 2

So...we had a retake. Needless to say, it was slightly better (no major adjustments required) BUT it was long and frustrating:
